D-11 Reversal Process Developer
So there is a lot of discussion on various forums (like Photrio, etc) regarding the dilution of D-11 attributed to David Wood and published on p348 of the Cookbook. The speculation among many is that the dilution ratio of 1:3 was a misprint and should actually be reversed to 3:1 for optimal contrast. Personally Ive found that 1:3 works well for Fomapan R-100 but that 2:1 or 3:1 works best for other films. I rotary process for reversal work. I wonder if the published dilution ratio could be verified with Mr. Wood? Last year he stated that he would publish his entire reversal process in the near future so I was wondering if he was close to doing so? Thanks
