Don't have my copy of the book with me at the moment, so please excuse if the answer is in there.
Years ago I used to use something that made negative scratches disappear when you printed. Made by Edwal I think.
Is there a DIY recipe for such a thing?

Ilford Rapid Fixer 5Liter
Any suggestions on a dispensing cap for the 5ltr jut of rapid fixer?
It'd be nice to put it on its side and have a tube the run out controlled amounts rather than tipping that big ole jug.

Re: The Film Developing Cookbook 2nd ed.
Received my copy of the 2nd Ed yesterday.
Just a quick glance, physically it's a nice compact reference. Flipping through looks to be thorough with current info, ideas, and follow ups.
Looking good!

Re: Beseler 45A for Split Grade
Thanks Steve. I "get" 90% of how this works. But since the color intensity is tied at the hip with the density, I'm a bit confused on how to emulate the paper grades for split grade. The digital density adjustment is awesome for F-Stop printing, but I'm used to the color being independent....

Beseler 45A for Split Grade
Hey all
Anyone have any experience using a 45A head for split grade printing?
It's an entirely different approach, so any insights to shorten the curve would be appreciated.

Darkroom fabric
Years ago I bought some "darkroom fabric" from Porters.
It was a heavy black fabric with a thin layer of rubber on one side.
Any thoughts about how to make this.
Is there a spray on rubber product? That'd make a light blocking seal? Remains pliable? Thoughts?

Re: Datatainer labels
It just felt like a stupid question as it seemed like the solution should be apparent.
I've tried everything from pencil to dry erase markers. Grease pencil was next but thought I'd poll for others ideas.
lol Steve
thx

Datatainer labels
OK, really stupid question...
What writing device do you use to write on the Datatainer bottle label areas?
